Pumas of Patagonia

A Wildlife Photography Adventure

Walking the Land of the Puma

Itinerary

Join us on an unforgettable photographic journey to the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia, Chile, renowned for its stunning natural beauty and rich wildlife.

  • Day 1 | Arrival in Port Natales

Our trip starts the evening of arrival with a welcome dinner where you'll get to meet your fellow travelers and talk about the adventure that lies ahead.

  • Day 2 | Scenic Drive through Torres del Paine

We will be picked up at our hotel and have lunch in town before embarking on our scenic drive to Torres del Paine National Park. Get your cameras ready because the beauty of this place is unsurpassed! By evening time, we will check into our lodge and have dinner and a briefing. Enjoy learning about the area and the diverse animal and bird life in the park and surrounds.

  • Day 3 -7 | Puma Days

We'll have 5 full days to track and photograph pumas. We'll be going out before sunrise (you don't want to miss the gorgeous sunrises here) to locate pumas. Once we find them, we'll either walk to them and spend time photographing them or walk with them as they move to other areas. We might be in the public part of the park or on private estancia where we have special permits. During the day, we might go check out other scenic areas of the park, look for other wildlife and have lunch before returning to look for pumas in the afternoon for sunset.

  • Day 8 - Goodbye

All good things must come to an end and today we will say goodbye to our new friends and head back to Santiago. After breakfast, we will check out and spend some more time sightseeing in the park before driving back to Port Natales to catch our flights to Santiago. Lunch will be provided before going to the airport.
