A Wildlife Photography Adventure
In Search of the Tiger
Central India is one of the most compelling places on earth to photograph wild tigers. In Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Parks, dense sal forests, open meadows, and ancient ruins create dramatic backdrops for encounters with Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, elephants, and extraordinary birdlife.
Tiger Trails is a small-group photographic safari designed for both wildlife lovers and serious photographers. With only two guests per vehicle, full-day park access on a dedicated safari, and in-field mentorship throughout, this journey prioritizes positioning, patience, and time — the essential ingredients for capturing powerful, story-driven images in India’s most iconic tiger habitats.

Itinerary
Join us on a magical journey through two of India's most beautiful National Parks to find the majestic tiger, sloth bear, leopard, elephant, wild dog, Indian Guar and a wide array of birds.
Day 1 | Arrive at New Delhi International Airport
Upon landing in New Delhi, you will be whisked away by private vehicle to your luxury accommodations right near the airport. Relax at the spa, have a swim at the pool or have a drink in style and then meet for dinner with the group where we talk about the adventures that lie ahead.
Day 2 | Our First National Park
We head back to the airport today to take a short flight to Jabalpur where we will be met by drivers and transported by private vehicles to Khana. The drive takes approximately 4 hours. Enjoy seeing India's countryside as we drive through villages and markets. We'll arrive at Khana Earth Lodge where we'll be welcomed by the friendly staff and shown to our rooms. Make sure you bring your swimsuit to enjoy the glorious pool. The lodge has lovely gardens and trails to enjoy at your leisure. We'll be served dinner in the beautiful dining room or in the garden under the stars.
Day 3 -6 | Khana National Park
The day we've all been waiting for! We start early before sunrise and venture into Khana National Park where unspeakable beauty and amazing wildlife await. Some believe that the Jungle Book is based on Khana National Park and it's easy to see why. Dense forest, beautiful trees, meadows and lakes make for a stunning back drop for finding wildlife. We'll have a morning and afternoon drive with a break in the middle of the day. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch and some free time to relax, work on photos, take a swim or check out the wonderful books in the lodge library.
Day 7 | Bandhavgarh
After a leisurely breakfast and some final goodbyes to our wonderful staff, we depart for Bandhavgarh National Park. The drive is roughly 5.5 hours with a nice rest stop in between. Enjoy the scenery of India as you're transported by private vehicles to our new lodge. We'll arrive at Tree House Hideaway and get settled in and have a free afternoon to unwind in this luxurious oasis. Enjoy a drink at the bar or the sounds of wildlife on the balcony of your room. Every room here is its own treehouse hideaway so you always feel like you're in the middle of the forest even in your own room.
Day 8 -11 | Exploring Bandhavgarh National Park
We'll spend our days exploring the beautiful and varied landscape of Bandhavgarh looking for tigers, sloth bears, birds and other wildlife. We will have morning and afternoon drives with a break in the middle of the day. On one of our days in Bandhavgarh, we will have our special full day pass.
Day 12 | Goodbye
All good things must come to an end and today we'll be saying goodbye to the wonderful staff at Treehouse Hideaway. We'll be transported by private vehicle back to Jabalpur to fly to New Delhi.

"Jennifer is an amazing photographer, teacher and just a great all around human"
★★★★★
Jennifer is an amazing photographer, teacher and just a great all around human. Her approach is an ethical one with a view to conservation while explaining both animal behavior and photography techniques to maximize wildlife encounters simultaneously. For her these tours are not transactional, she genuinely wants to help you enjoy your vacation and grow as a photographer. She is concerned if someone is not feeling well, working closely with her ground team to help where possible. She also has the ability to let her hair down and enjoy life -- a great ability in group travel. Best compliment that I can offer is -- I am already looking at ways to travel on a future trip with Jennifer! Thanks

"I can't say enough good things about this trip"
★★★★★
I can't say enough good things about this trip. Jen takes care of every detail other than getting yourself to the starting location. Airport pickup is handled, and she's there waiting at the hotel to welcome you and make sure everything is set for your stay. Once you arrive, you never have to worry about logistics again and there were plenty of moving parts on this trip. She's also constantly checking in to make sure you have everything you need. The accommodations were first class, and the safaris and guides were excellent. When you're joining a group of 7 strangers for two weeks, there's always a little trepidation about how you'll fit in. But from the very first group dinner, I could tell this was going to be a great group and as the days went on, the camaraderie grew and everyone started to feel like family. People were always willing to help each other out, and the laughs were pretty much nonstop. If you ever get the chance to go on a trip with Jen, don't hesitate. I already know that when I figure out my next adventure, the first thing I'll be doing is checking to see if she has something planned for that destination.

"We would do it again in a heartbeat."
★★★★★
Epic adventure. Going to India to photograph tigers was a bit daunting, but Jennifer had every detail covered and made it unforgettable. Not only did we laugh each and every day until our bellies hurt, but we learned so much about our individual photographic challenges with wildlife. Jennifer goes the extra mile for everyone. We would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you immensely, Jennifer Hadley!

" I have so many great photos to go through"
★★★★★
I will start with, I'm semi-retired. I have a very limited income. Choosing to go on a trip like this is hard for me. It's a big expense, one I take very seriously. Photographing tigers in the wild was definitely a huge bucket list. I had only met Jennifer once randomly while out photographing bears. We connected on socials. When I saw that she did a tiger trip to India, I was immediately interested. Once deciding to go, she was very supportive on helping plan and orchestrating prep for the trip. She was VERY accommodating to every need of every guest while on this trip. From the moment we arrived at our first lodge, I wanted to give her a huge hug. It was so awesome, and I knew from that moment on that I could relax and enjoy myself. Every detail was so meticulously thought out...the travel, accommodations, meals, safaris, etc. I couldn't have asked for anything better. She is also just a fun and great person to be around. She always gave us information on what to expect without taking away the element of surprise. She gave us the opportunity to go full throttle and use every minute available to experience as much as possible, with the option to sit out and relax if we wanted to. She also offered her expertise on photography and editing to anyone wanting it. This trip took my mind away from the blah that exists in every day life. It was a great couple of weeks with a bunch of great people. A HUGE thank you to Jennifer. I have so many great photos to go through. There will definitely be future trips with her. PS, if you get the opportunity to take a trip with Jennifer you should take it, and, at some random point while you're having dinner or a drink, ask her about water polo. Haha.
